About this role:


In this role, you will:


  • Detailed analysis and investigation of all types of financial crimes investigations, including fraud, AML, and terrorist financing investigations, performing detailed examination to detect transactional and relationship patterns, trends, anomalies and schemes across multiple businesses or products.
  • Investigative research, root cause analysis regarding complex financial crimes transactions, and/or suspicious transactions and SAR filings across six jurisdictions.
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing full knowledge proficiency in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead, participate in and provide support for projects and initiatives and other duties as requested by the EMEA GFIU Manager and under EMEA GFIU policies and procedures.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with EMEA GFIU investigators, EMEA FCRM team members, regional business/compliance partners and other FCRM investigative personnel both in and out of the United States in furtherance of investigative duties.
  • Participate in initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities.
  • Identification of unusual transactions impacting EMEA and/or other Regional GFIUs.
  • Understanding of AML/TF Laws and Regulations in multiple jurisdictions.

Required Qualifications:


  • Experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, Corruption, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Proven experience in fraud, antimoney laundering, and terrorist financing financial crimes investigations, with good understanding of KYC & AML requirements for various client types, lines of business, and products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure and independently in a dynamic environment to ensure assignments are completed within established deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial crime regulations across EMEA and the US, such as AML, CFT, OFAC, BSA etc.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Relevant industry qualification(s), such as; Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), International Compliance Association (ICA) Diploma, or other similar qualification desired.
