Administration Assistant.


As an administrator at Partnering Health Limited (PHL), your role is to support the team in the effective management of all administration tasks, ensuring safe delivery of services.

As an integral team member, you will be accountable for completing the tasks as set out for you, helping to create a respectful environment in which to work and ensuring supplies processes adhere to our value of caring for our patients.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00


Administration Assistant Key Responsibilities:


  • To provide an efficient word processing service for GP's and health professionals as required. This includes the typing of letters, reports, patient referral etc. in an accurate and quality manner.
  • Making sure that all administration tasks are completed within set service levels, report any noncompliance to the Senior Administrator
  • Acknowledging and logging complaints from patients and assisting with complaint resolution as required
  • To initiate outgoing telephone calls to facilitate timely and appropriate communications with patients
  • To assist the administration team with all clerical administrative duties as required
  • To establish and maintain filing and administrative systems so that written or computer information is easily accessible and secure
  • To maintain the computer clinic systems in an accurate and secure manner
  • To assist with scanning letter into patient's medical records, coding appropriately as required for QOF, LCS and CQUINs and any other additional services, actioning any task that do not require clinical input
  • To assist with downloading letters from the Clinical Document Service into patients' medical records.
  • To assist with the gathering of statistics and information, producing reports when required.
  • To process, all repeat medication requests, liaise with patients and pharmacists regarding queries and requests.
  • To ensure that patient queries on medication are highlighted to the relevant GP

Administration Assistant Skills and Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proven experience of providing admin support to a busy team
