An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.


Vacancy Brief:


  • My client is looking for a Wake Night Support Worker; this is a potential temp to perm opportunity.
  • A fulltime role, it is 35 hours per week.
  • Night Shift work including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Shift time: 9pm 8am
  • Pay Rate is £12.63 PAYE Or £16.00 Umbrella
  • Full UK Driver's License and access to a vehicle is required.
  • Managing a caseload of up to 10 clients.

The Responsibilities:


  • As a Wake Night Support Worker, you will be providing housing related support to vulnerable individuals together with providing housing and property management with the aim of achieving a successful moveon and other measurable outcomes including supporting service users to achieve independence.
  • As a Wake Night Support Worker, you will engage with actual and potential referral agencies including local authority central access point/gateway services, statutory and voluntary sector agencies to generate referrals for the service as required.
  • Part of your role will be to plan and deliver an effective support and safety plan with the service user referring to specialist agencies as required. The progressions/outcomes identified, delivered and service user contact should be recorded, monitored, reviewed, and updated regularly and in line with contract requirements.
  • You will need to ensure that properties are always adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and cleaned.
  • An important part of your role as a Wake Night Support worker will be to maximise rent collection, ensuring successful housing and other welfare benefit claims are submitted and maintained.
