We are a traditional business producing the finest quality English confectionery from our base in the beautiful North Yorkshire town of Harrogate.

We have spent 150 years crafting and refining what we do; using only the best ingredients, time-honoured recipes and techniques and creating most of our confectionery by hand.

Our creations are cooled naturally to improve texture and flavour, resulting in the finest tasting, moreish and quintessentially English confectionery.

We produce a full range of fudges, coconut ices, toffee, honeycombs and brittles. Supplying major retailers and export across the world.

Although our business is steeped in history, we're a new generation excited to revive those childhood favourites whilst sticking to our principals of quality, taste and fun.

What to expect:

Reporting into the Production Supervisor, you will lead a team to ensure the successful operation of the production lines.

You will ensure the production lines and people you are responsible for achieve the output required of them within production performance and quality.

Training will be provided for operating machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

Working with high efficiency production lines you will deliver daily volumes

Achieve planned downtime and reduce unplanned downtime events

Deliver exceptionally high standards of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) with your team

Create a culture of safety by guiding and leading safe working practices

Maintain Company hygiene and statutory hygiene standards throughout designated areas, working within the principles of basic food hygiene and good housekeeping.

Accurately completes relevant documentations according to procedure and customer requirements.

Skills & Essentials:

Proven leadership skills

Ability to make critical decisions within

Experience of working in an FMCG environment

Excellent communication and influencing skills

A self-starter with a thirst for knowledge and hunger to succeed

Ability to prioritise multiple tasks using initiative

Ability to adhere to quality standards as they relate to own role.

Have a proactive and positive outlook and good working ethics

Ready to work

Information:

Shifts vary, during peak season Mon - Fri, 5:30am-13:30pm and 13:30pm-10pm rotating shift with overtime available on weekend in peak season.

8am-4pm shift when it's off peak

£11.60 per hour
