JMS Business Support Services is pleased to be recruiting for a Commercial Administrative Assistant for Vermtek Pest Control, a small Swindon based business (SN6 8TZ).

Our central management team is based from the Shrivenham Hundred Business Park on the Oxfordshire/Wiltshire border. We are a vibrant, close knit team, dedicated to exceptional customer service.


Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a detail focused, organised individual who would work to support all areas of the business including Finance, Customer Service, Quality control and Health and Safety.

There will also be focus on core roles with Account Management. An exciting and varied role you will find that no two days are the same.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supplier recruitment
  • Respond to queries from local companies
  • Help with managing internal queries
  • Processing quotes and other information sent by suppliers
  • Setting up meetings
  • Customer satisfaction surveys
  • Organising supplier performance reports
  • Reviewing data for escalation
  • Excel
  • Helping develop presentations on Powerpoint
  • Assisting with review meetings for National and Local customers
  • Social Media posting and content creation
  • Staff events organisation
  • Be highly organised and selfmotivated, with the ability to independently prioritise workloads
  • Have a good understanding of all Microsoft programs, especially excel and outlook
  • Have a minimum 12 months' general book keeping experience
  • Payroll experience preferable but not essential
  • Ideally, have experience of Quickbooks or similar accounting software
  • Full training and potential to develop into a more senior role in finance if desired
  • Competitive salary (apprenticeships offered)

  • Full time role, generally 8.30am5pm Monday-Friday, with flexible working options considered on merit.
