We are recruiting for a Head of Sales to lead and develop the sales operations for a prestigious leisure business in the South of England.


The role will be pivotal in shaping the culture within the business to offer exceptional service to the businesses internal and external customers and suppliers.

Developing strong relationships, leading the sales and marketing efforts with a focus on service and innovation.


The individual should be driven and enjoy working to challenging budgets, they must have a proven track record leading successful sales operations working with luxury/lifestyle products.

Multi-site experience would be an advantage and a high level of detail is essential.


They should have a detailed knowledge of customer focused sales processes and a strong background in coaching and training high performing sales teams.


Requirements Of Role:


  • Lead the sales teams to help them deliver exceptional results through a service driven sales process.
  • Manage the team through a culture of coaching and development to achieve the objectives and goals of the individual team members and overall profit centre.
  • Work closely with all internal departments and ensure effective and timely communication to deliver efficient customer service and account management
  • Ensure aftercare processes support the fivestar nature of the products and service
  • Maintain and use company systems for best effect, including CRM and product management.
  • Have a thorough and detailed knowledge of the data driving the business
  • Monitor and measure productiveness and performance of the sales business.
  • Plan and action marketing cost effective strategies
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of all marketing channels
  • Develop local marketing strategies with regional teams
  • Adapt to marketing conditions to deliver budgets
  • Write and plan the delivery of the departments' business plan, both in terms of financial and qualitative growth
  • Develop and nurture intelligence of the sector competitors
  • Produce detailed reports of the performance of the business

Skills/Experience/Attributes:


  • Proven sales experience in a customerdriven environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of selling luxury products
  • Strong Marketing understanding and the ability to conceptualise and roll out marketing initiatives.
  • Extensive experience in a direct sales environment
  • Previous experience in managing teams
  • Experience in understanding and managing sales departmental financial information, including the managing of costs, wages and overheads.
  • Experience actively using a CRM system
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Selfmotivated, able to work under own initiative
  • Enthusiastic and a good team player
  • Demonstrate high standards of personal conduct
  • Take personal responsibility for the quality of service you deliver
