The Marketing & Communications Projects Manager will be responsible for taking the lead on a defined list of projects as we prepare for the busy summer period.

They will be responsible for liaising with various teams in the organisation to ensure completion of the planning, production and on-time delivery of a variety of customer-facing publications, packs, merchandise and other items needed for the Oxford Royale summer schools.

Over the summer itself, the role will oversee the commissioning and collection of media materials (e.g. photography, video, testimonials) from the summer schools as they are taking place, and work closely with the Marketing Lead to support the delivery of regular blogs and social media activity.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Key duties will include:

  • Project management of printed material
  • Planning of summer collateral production and photography projects
  • Liaising with other teams within the company to set up schedules for oncampus activities
  • Support the organization of oncampus events, including parties, graduations and key note speeches
  • Updating publications for upcoming academic year, including brochures and posters
This post may also be required to support other areas of work within the marketing team as needed and as directed by the Head of Marketing and Brand


Person Specification:


Essential Requirements:


  • Project management skills, ideally in a marketing environment (including management of thirdparty agencies)
  • Clear communicator (verbal and written)
  • Strong copywriter
  • Quick learner for new systems
  • Keen eye for detail in visuals and text
  • Positive contributor in a team environment
  • Organised, flexible, energetic, reliable, selfmotivated

Desirable Requirements:


  • Experience in sourcing branded materials
  • Event management or organisation
  • BA or BSc Hons Degree (2:1 or higher) or equivalent.

Position Details:

Type of employment: Fixed Term Contract - immediate until 26th August 2024

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM)

Location: Based at our Oxford office (OX4), with hybrid working options

Salary: £28,000 pa (pro rata)

Holiday entitlement: 32 days of annual leave per year, inclusive of public and bank holidays, pro rata

Reports to: Head of Marketing and Brand
