Description
The management of data bearing IT assets is a top priority for our client.

The Desktop Hardware Service Management Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all desktop data bearing assets are managed in accordance with firm policies and procedures throughout their lifecycle.


The Desktop Hardware Service Management Lead will help lead a regional team whose remit will include the receipt, building, configuring, installing, moving and decommissioning of desktop assets including desktops, laptops, monitors, IP phones, trader voice devices & associated peripherals.

The role will also include inventory and stock management of all assets.

They will provide procedural support to their team to ensure projects are executed in accordance with established operating instructions and help standardise process and tools across the region.


Skills Required:


  • A wide range of experience in a Technology role
  • Able to demonstrate strong team leadership skills
  • Proven experience of adherence to detailed processes
  • Selfmotivated personality with a very high level of attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain and develop formal and informal relationships with key stakeholders and with peers globally to ensure a consistent approach in each region.
  • The ability to multitask in a high paced and demanding environment is crucial
  • Experience with managing relationships with vendors, including the monitoring of Service Level Agreements
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of management.
  • Strong understanding of desktop hardware and components.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Skills Desired

  • Experience working in Agile teams and an understanding of Agile practices
  • An understanding of or qualification in ITIL practices.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products (including admin functions)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
