We are currently seeking experienced and reliable self-employed Traffic Marshalls to join our team.

As a Traffic Marshall, you will play a crucial role within our logistics plan, by ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians in and surrounding our sites.

This role will involve working outdoors in various weather conditions for varying lengths of time and may include offloading of materials if required.

The nature of the role makes exposure to loud noises, busy traffic areas and other construction site hazards, likely.


Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing and enforcing site logistic plans.
• Ensuring clear and safe pedestrian walkways and vehicle routes.
• Guiding delivery vehicles to designated areas and assisting with safely unloading materials when required.
• Directing the movement of vehicles onsite to ensure efficient traffic flow and safety.
• Communicating effectively with site operatives and vehicle drivers.
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Experience working in the same or similar position.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, if required.
• PPE
  (Operatives are required to provide their own steel toe boots)

Person Specification:

• Must be reliable and trustworthy.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Good timekeeping is essential.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work calmly under pressure.
• Good knowledge of UK road law.

£13.15 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week


Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
