Concept Resourcing is pleased to be working with an growing organisation as they look to recruit an Procurement Business Partner.

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers and be recognised as a trusted partner, providing end to end support on tenders.
  • Lead on Request for Quotations and framework Mini Competitions across a variety of spend categories.
  • Promote sustainable procurement practices and social value; ensure they are adopted and embedded wherever possible.
  • Lead on supplier/spend analysis to support strategic and operational procurement decision making.
  • Develop and maintain accurate procurement project folders with the key information and documentation for each project and manage the Procurement Team shared inbox.
  • Managing the New Supplier onboarding process and due diligence, in conjunction with Finance colleagues.
  • Assist in developing and implementing robust and effective policies, processes, procedures, and systems to support the operational effectiveness of in relation to procurement and contracting.
  • Implement and record contractual variations upon request.
  • Regular benchmarking against market rates to ensure value for money is being achieved.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Sound knowledge of Public Sector Procurement including PCR15 regulations
  • Understanding of Central Government spend controls.
  • Understanding of delivering end
- to-end procurement solutions and tenders within the public sector

  • Experience of contract management
  • Qualified or actively studying towards CIPS
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer literate with strong excel skills.


This role is being recruited on a hybrid basis, so you must be happy to travel to their Birmingham offices a few times per week.

Salary depending upon experience will be £31,000 - £36,000 plus benefits.
