Account Manager/Account Director - Freelance Contract (Outside of IR35) working virtually.


You'll work as part of our dynamic client service team in managing the relationship with one or more global clients to drive internal comms strategy and delivery, maintain effective and efficient client service at all times, and ensure that a wide rangeof projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards.


Projects range from the high level of strategy, planning and campaign development, to overseeing tactical delivery of a full range of digital and creative solutions - at all times supported by high performing digital gurus, a creative studio, a fully robustproject management structure and processes.


Account Director Key Responsibilities:


  • Establishing and building positive, collaborative relationships with clients/client teams.
  • Providing clients with a high level of strategic advice and expertise on internal communication projects.
  • Ensuring that all projects start and hold onto a clear and inspiring brief and the work is delivering on the brief/KPIs.
  • Bringing the right resource and stakeholders at the right time; ultimately ensuring that all agency processes are orchestrated effectively.
  • Providing leadership and support to the digital and creative teams, making sure they have everything they need to deliver.
  • Confidently managing account financials, project budgets and time lines.
  • Measuring the success of work against established KPI's.

Essential Skills:


  • At least 5 years working in client services at an internal comms or marketing/external comms agency.
  • Expertise in building strong client relationships whilst supporting junior members.
  • Creative confidence the ability to judge and understand creative work, to discuss and protect the creative and manage the associated feedback process.
  • Strong collaboration and organisational skills, able to work effectively with teams and clients in a variety of global locations and time zones to deliver an industryleading client service.
  • Knowledge of technical/digital channels and new digital developments and opportunities in internal comms, and the ability to manage digital projects.
  • To be selfemployed with your own computer and home office arrangement

Account Manager Key Responsibilities:


  • Arranging and attending meetings with existing and prospective clients.
  • Liaising with our clients to ensure continuity, clarity and consistency throughout campaigns. This includes interpreting and consolidating client feedback for the studio, then checking that correct work before it goes back to client.
  • Conducting research for strategy formulation.
  • Creating internal communications and campaign strategies, planning projects, and managing them from start to finish.
  • Project managing endtoend projects including but not limited to Share Point design and development, Power Point and PDF brochure design, videos, internal campaigns, print design, brand and branding, etc.
  • Reporting and using data to make informed decisions going forward.
  • Managing project spend alongside the team, providing regular updates throughout the process and ensuring budgets are kept within client expectations.
  • Working closely with the account directors and other internal stakeholders to monitor meeting schedules, raise potential challenges, and predict and handle roadblocks when necessary.
  • Being a trusted advisor to clients and main point of contact.
  • Maintain clear and strong communication between all parties including client, creative and internal departments, as well as third party partners.
  • Building a thorough understanding of our client's business and knowledge of industry movements, trends etc.
  • Contributing with ideas to brainstorm/thinktank sessions & taking ownership of various support tasks as required

Essential Skills:


  • At least 3 years working in client services at an internal comms or marketing/external comms agency.
  • A strong sense of audience, positioning, and brand.
  • Confident communicator with a keen interest in relationship building.
  • Creative confidence the ability to judge and understand creative work, to discuss and protect the creative and manage the associated feedback process.
  • Time management focused with impeccable organisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication & knowledge of project management software.
  • Not afraid to challenge the client and look for opportunities across their business to make improvements to their internal comms.
  • Knowledge of technical/digital channels and new digital developments and opportunities in internal comms, and the ability to manage digital projects.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients in a variety of global locations and time zones to deliver an industryleading client service
