Description
Midnightzulu Limited is a specialist logistics company arranging the air shipment of perishable cargo from Africa to Europe.

Cargo is uplifted on regular chartered air freighters with onward overland temperature-controlled truck distribution managed from British and European airports.

The business is fast moving, light touch and high value where attention to detail is paramount.

Following continued business growth and strong onward projections, we seek to expand the UK team with an Accounts Assistant.

The business is free from the trappings of large corporations, and we have adapted (post covid) to optimize business efficiency whilst also improving the lifestyle wellbeing for our human capital.

Whilst retaining strong ethical and professional values, this freedom allows time and location flexibility for staff which, in many cases, has great personal value.

The business is attuned to the changing needs of its clients and the marketplace and therefore it is necessary for this role to be adaptable inside the parameters of the administration function.

Whilst the business uses Xero for core functionality, the role is not purely systems based and has a strong leaning towards excel data management.

Whilst based at home, we would expect that applicants are suitably located to enable attendance at an office in Bury St Edmonds twice weekly, should the company choose to establish an office in future.

The business offers an attractive package which includes private medical cover, very generous pension contributions, and substantive annual leave provision.

Midnightzulu seeks a diligent individual with minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

Salary is envisaged to be £26,000 per annum and can be adjusted pro rata, as necessary, based on a 35 hours working week.

Please attach C.V's with an accompanying covering letter.

The first round of interviews will be on Microsoft Teams, with final interviews in person.
