Job Introduction

As we continue to spread the doughlightful goodness across the UK, we are on the lookout for Area Coaches (AC) who want a slice of the action and who are Ready to Rise.

Our ACs play a key role in empowering and supporting our Pizza Hut delivery sites. They are able to lead, influence, and support a team of Restaurant General Managers within a designated area/region. They are inspiring, encouraging, and coaching those teams and giving them support to rise. This goal? To improve customer satisfaction, drive team development, and deliver operational effectiveness and overall profitability.

Our ACs are passionate about People, Products, and Processes to deliver Performance.

They help to deliver against all operational performance metrics (Customer Satisfaction, Sales, Profit, Training Certification, Food Safety, Health and Safety, and all PH Brand standards).

The role supports up to 6 Delivery Huts across the region and reports directly to a Head of Operations.

Main Responsibilities


People:


  • Develop and enhance the performance capability of team members within the designated area.
  • Provide coaching and support to Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) to improve their business and operational skills, standards knowledge, and leadership behaviors.
  • Collaborate with HRBP (Human Resources Business Partner) and peers to develop, coach, grow, and approve Shift Managers and RGMs for the company.
  • Foster a positive working culture across all Pizza Hut locations in the area, with a focus on celebrating success.
  • Review and report people metrics, including bench planning and talent pipeline development, in coordination with the HRBP and Head of People.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels across the area by supporting RGMs in recruitment, selection, and training, particularly for high turnover or challenging locations.
  • Recruit highperforming RGMs in collaboration with the HRBP.

Customer:


  • Coach RGMs to create a customerfocused environment consistently delivering a great customer experience.
  • Conduct unannounced visits to provide impactful coaching that drives the right standards for the business.
  • Ensure effective complaint management and strategies to increase customer loyalty and return visits.
  • Implement YUM and Franchisee programs to improve customer metrics.
  • Utilize smart Dispatch system and analyze customer data to identify areaspecific opportunities and develop longterm solutions.

Sales:


  • Foster a growth mindset to maximize sales in the area and coach RGMs to exceed sales targets.
  • Ensure proper execution of all brand marketing promotions.
  • Collaborate with local teams to develop marketing initiatives that enhance sales and raise awareness.
  • Support RGMs in conducting annual SWOT analysis and business planning, emphasizing local area understanding and awareness.

Profit:


  • Maximize area profitability by understanding and controlling costs, such as labour and food costs.
  • Monitor and provide metrics on a daily, weekly, and periodic basis to stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies to increase Unit Contribution through sales, transaction, and cost analysis.
  • Provide coaching on profit and loss (P&L) management to RGMs, utilizing trend analysis and analytics for accurate sales and labour forecasting.
  • Make smart and sustainable decisions for the business area, demonstrating an owner mindset.

  • Effectively manage and implement any systems introduced, ensuring successful implementation across all Pizza Hut locations in the area.
