2fawcett are supporting a manufacturing within the Automotive industry to recruit for a demand planner. Working within the sales department, the demand planner will ensure a successful implementation of a robust sales plan.
Analysing sales figures and creating forecasts, the demand planner is responsible for estimating product demands with the goal of maximizing cash flows and sales levels.
Responsible for management reviews, sales and operation planning, Sales Forecasting & Stock optimisation, optimising sales promotion budgets and schemes in accordance with competition actions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyse information using external data
- Forecasting sales figures
- Planning supply orders to ensure stock is readily available
- Setting targets and tracking the progress
- Managing budgets
- Coordination of the work management
- Creating business reports and project processes
- Lead crossfunction projects
Personal Specification
- Previous experience in sales planning
- Excellent communication skills
- Data analysis experience
- Forecasting experience
- Experience within a planning role in the Automotive Industry an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft (Excel)
- Organisational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to individually resolve any issues
- Creative thinking
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to liaise with external stakeholders
