As a Production Scheduler you will work collaboratively with the Planner in order to efficiently coordinate the schedule demand in line with the availability of capacity, resources and materials to ensure supply of finished products to meet business requirements.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Generating and allocating Works Orders to ensure that the correct Instructions are issued to relevant internal departments.
  • Creating production and distribution schedules in line S&OP capacity planning.
  • Analysing and reporting progress against plans, identifying critical risks and delays to agreed delivery dates.
  • Run planning reports to ensure all Sales Orders are converted to work orders and checking orders to make sure they are accurate and correct.
  • Measurement and reporting of delivery performance by key customers.
  • Liaison with key stakeholders to ensure their understanding of all aspects of schedule collating and reporting.
  • Contribute to enhancements of planning processes and systems, which include performing system checks and tests and developing reports. Ensures planning processes and methods are followed and updated as needed.
  • Comply with all company local and global policies
  • Perform any other duties or serve in such other capacity as may be determined by Company management.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business; Finance; Supply Chain & Logistics or demonstrated experience within a production / supply chain environment

Knowledge/Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience or knowledge of Production within a busy Manufacturing environment
  • Experience of logistics, materials or production planning for manufacturing
  • Thorough attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of SAP functions (ERP/MRP) and PC packages (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Excellent organisational, planning and administrative abilities
  • Determination to see jobs through to completion
  • Ability to work accurately and within strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
