My client is a commodity, import and logistics expert who trades a wide range raw materials across the globe.


Due to the company's ongoing growth and expansion, they are looking for a Credit Conteoller to join their Finance team based in Central London.

The is a fantastic opportunity for someone with existing Credit Control experience to join a thriving companywith scope to grow and develop within the role.

With a starting salary up to £30K plus study support towards accountancy qualification

Duties and responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring invoice statements and chasers are sent out
  • Chasing outstanding debt from key customers by telephone
  • Producing Aged Debtors reports and analysis
  • Uploading customer invoice details to credit insurer web portal
  • Identify refinements of creditcontrol process to reduce total debtor days
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure customer queries are handled professionally and quickly
  • Maintaining and updating customer information on the database
  • Setting up new customer accounts
  • Payments / Receipts processing
  • Invoice Processing (overheads)
  • FX contract processing
Requirement/Experience

  • Credit control and general accounts experience
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Understanding of double entry principals
  • Experience of using Sage advantageous
  • Ability work with other finance team members
  • Must be comfortable working as part of a small team within a rapidly growing and developing company. Highly driven, positive attitude and selfmotivated problem solver
  • Confidence in person and via the telephone
