Description
Undertaking food preparation tasks observing correct cooking times and temperature checking.

Loading up the carvery with the cooked food, serving and replenishing when necessary and keeping the food presentable, engaging with customers in a pleasant manner.

Assisting the chef with food preparation tasks. Ensuring food preparation areas are clean and hygienic in line with food hygiene regulations. Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately. Cleaning the floor and other kitchen equipment, disposing of rubbish and keeping the yard swept. Sorting and storing ingredients, observing use by dates.

Ability to multi task, stay calm under pressure and work as part of a team, good time keeper and smart in appearance as this is also a customer facing role.

Ideally we would prefer someone who has an interest in cooking.

Full training will be given, with a view to obtaining a qualification

Shifts required 8am-12pm and 4-8pm


Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour
