An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join our well-established facilities management and building services client and their Accident & Enforcement Team as a Health and Safety Administrator based at Glasgow Head Office with the ability to work from home on a flexible basis.
Full training will be given in all aspects of the role.Responsibilities:
To provide multi-discipline Health and Safety administrative support in line with company policy, procedure, and legislative guidelines.
To produce accident reports (RIDDOR) to the Health and Safety Executive on our Customer's behalf and to log all our Customer's enforcement incidents directly onto their database.
Work closely with key colleagues in the business, including Customer's Management Team, Local Authority Staff, and Contractors.
Monitor and record all City accidents and City audit visits and inspections using our reporting software.
Responding to enquiries from the site and our Customer's Compliance Team for accident information.
Producing various reports on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis as required.
Support to helpdesk colleagues regarding accident and enforcement issues.
General administration duties and ad hoc field support.
To be available to work a mixture of 8 to 4 and 9 to 5 shifts Monday to Friday - a degree of flexibility is also expected in terms of shifts.
About you:
Clear and effective communication skills both written and verbal.
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.
Ability to deliver presentations at meetings.
Ability to deal with staff from all areas of the business including Senior Managers.
Ability to manage own time and prioritise workload whilst working to tight deadlines.
Must be adaptable and able to work using own initiative.
Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
Previous experience and knowledge of Health and Safety, RIDDOR and Enforcement is an advantage but not required as full training will be given.
On offer:
Salary:
£21,079 raising to £21,500 after probation
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday (mix of 8 to 4 and 9 to 5 shifts) + Hybrid (Monday & Friday at home)
