SUPPORT WORKERS X 2 REQUIRED, KILMARNOCK. DRIVERS ESSENTIAL. 01/KAW/CS

GENERALLY BACK SHIFT ROLES X2 12HR ROLES PER WEEK.

ODD WEEKEND SUPPORT MAY BE REQUIRED, DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW STAGE.

£10.50 PER HOUR

EARLIEST BACK SHIFT START BE 4PM LATEST FINISH 10PM.

Support workers are required to aid a young lady to live her life to the fullest after some recent health conditions.

The young lady will be the employer and has 24hrs support each week to offer and is looking for one or two staff to help in areas she finds difficult at the moment.

The young lady works full time and is studying for a Masters, she is very motivated to change her current circumstance.

The independent driven young lady lives in her own home with her dog and cat, the support role would be to help her with attending vet appointments and going for a walk with her trusted friend.

Support and encouragement with household tasks and light meal prep would also be part of this role.

The young woman enjoys cooking, support and encouragement on some shifts to batch cook and look at meal plan and prep would be helpful.

Support in getting ready for bed is required and ensuring a safe locked living environment essential. Full PPE will be required for elements of this supporting role.

An element of personal care is involved in this role as well as support with light moving and assisting. Visual risk assessment will be required as the young woman uses aids within the home.

The Young woman is competitive in rowing and swimming and may require the odd weekend early shift to support her to events.

These events are in the Glasgow area, so driving in and around Glasgow would be a great advantage. The weekend shifts will be discussed at the interview stage.

Interviews will be carried out over zoom, teams or group WhatsApp.

There is a 6-month probationary period and full contract of employment with this role, a 4-weekly salary, 13 annual payments.
