Sanderson are recruiting for an experienced Service Architect for an initial 6 month contract, hybrid working out of London (2 days a week).


  • We are looking for a Service Architect with strong SIAM experience. You'll be looking for an opportunity to deliver seamless integration of new technologies into the existing service offering and innovating along the way to provide an industry leadingservice model._


You'll need experience of service architecture and service management, keen to introduce strong architectural governance to the service model ensuring it aligns with the clients and Business Technology Solutions strategies.


Key roles & responsibilities:


  • Develop end to end Service Management transformation strategies and plans with specific approaches to meet specific product/domain needs.
  • Reviewing service management requirements, defining nonfunctional test acceptance criteria, and operating throughout the development life cycle ensuring alignment to the service management architecture.
  • Designing new services and integrating into the service catalogue and identifying opportunities to drive greater efficiency through service consolidation.
  • Shaping and maintaining service design principles and contribute to enterprise architecture deliverable (i.e. platform strategies and system road maps).
  • Gathering requirements from key stakeholders for the design or new or changed production services and quality assure support models to ensure service and enterprise architecture standards and principles are adhered to, impacts are known, assessed and understood.
  • Organising shared service assets in support of new service design.
  • Leading contributions to relevant communities of practice, identifying improvements, opportunities, innovations, transformations across the Services Lifecycle, support the adoption of an integrated approach to the design of repeatable Service Models, servicedesign documentation and service performance criteria. Assist in setting up, establishing and maturing the Service Design discipline, developing common tools and methodologies, capabilities and quality assure designs. Contribute to resourcing discussions andrecruitment activity to ensure appropriately skilled service designers are available to support project and programmes.
Experience of building enterprise wide service strategies and transformation plans including baseline/target and transitional states;

  • Significant experience in delivering and governing IT and IT Service architectures, preferably within Financial Services or a government or regulatory body;
  • Significant experience as a Service Architect or Designer, supporting change programmes where changes to IT service models, processes and tools are introduced, working within architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman).

Essential
?

  • Deep expertise in the SIAM Operating Model and how this interacts with Enterprise and Technical architectures in a multisourced IT Supply Chain Model within Financial Services or government or other regulatory body;
  • Experience in developing service frameworks standards and principles, coaching others in their use and playing a lead role in the capability development of a service management function;
  • Deep knowledge of the processes that are part of the ITIL V3 Service Design lifecycle phase, and experience in delivering ITSM processes;
  • Deep knowledge of the structure, content and purpose of the Service Design Package (SDP) and experience of using this to facilitate Service Transition;
  • ITIL V3 Service Lifecycle Intermediate or higher.
