Description

Our client has a UK Head Office in Studley, Warwickshire, and seeks an experienced HR Assistant to join their team of approx.

60 employees, on a full-time permanent basis.


The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and being offered on a salary of up to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience.

Whilst the role is office based, hybrid working will be considered on completion of a successful probationary period.


The role involves:


  • Providing day to day HR assistance to senior management to support the needs of the business.
  • Liaising with our external HR Consultancy, benefit providers and payroll.
  • Maintaining confidential records (sickness, absence, holiday) and personnel files to a high standard.
  • Communicating with all levels within the business on HR and employment matters. Answering questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Supporting the business with recruitment and induction planning.
  • Being the first point of contact for office and fieldbased employee HR queries.
  • Supporting Line Managers when following our HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Note taking in formal meetings.
  • Fleet management activities.
  • Supporting the business objectives with through communication and employee engagement.

You will:


  • Be CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
  • Possess at least 2 years' post qualification experience in a HR role.
  • Be proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Be confident in supporting managers with tasks.
  • Be able to demonstrate that you can prioritise effectively with strong organisational skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, including numerate and written skills.
  • Basic understanding of H&S would be an advantage.
  • An understanding of employment law/best practice.
  • Be comfortable working independently and using initiative to make decisions.
  • Maintain high levels of confidentiality.
