Our client has a UK Head Office in Studley, Warwickshire, and seeks an experienced HR Assistant to join their team of approx.
60 employees, on a full-time permanent basis.
The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and being offered on a salary of up to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience.
The role involves:
- Providing day to day HR assistance to senior management to support the needs of the business.
- Liaising with our external HR Consultancy, benefit providers and payroll.
- Maintaining confidential records (sickness, absence, holiday) and personnel files to a high standard.
- Communicating with all levels within the business on HR and employment matters. Answering questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Supporting the business with recruitment and induction planning.
- Being the first point of contact for office and fieldbased employee HR queries.
- Supporting Line Managers when following our HR Policies and Procedures.
- Note taking in formal meetings.
- Fleet management activities.
- Supporting the business objectives with through communication and employee engagement.
You will:
- Be CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
- Possess at least 2 years' post qualification experience in a HR role.
- Be proficient in the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Be confident in supporting managers with tasks.
- Be able to demonstrate that you can prioritise effectively with strong organisational skills.
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and listening skills, including numerate and written skills.
- Basic understanding of H&S would be an advantage.
- An understanding of employment law/best practice.
- Be comfortable working independently and using initiative to make decisions.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality.
