TristoneNash are supporting a Housing Provider in the West Midlands in their search for a Asset Data Team Lead.
Your role is to develop and lead a team that plan, monitor and analyse asset data to create programmes of work to make great homes and neighbourhoods.
You'll drive a professional programme and project management culture that delivers value for money and has customer focus, and you'll develop projects through RIBA stages 0 to 1.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure data, systems, reporting, documents and analysis are accurate and support strategic decision making in Asset Management
- Develop and support IT system and business improvements within Asset Management in conjunction with the Insight and Performance Team and the IT Team.
- Play an active part in leading the Programme Management function and make strategic decisions with other senior managers and take the lead on PMO operations.
- Develop options for establishing programmes and project packages and ensure the scope of the delivery plan aligns to time and cost constraints in coordination with the Programme Manager.
- Establish KPI metrics for programme performance and measurement.
- Lead the assurance of data and consistency, setting the standards and defining the requirements for reporting.
- Coordinate the risk management of the projects and programme including intervention or escalation as required. This will also include contingency management
- Identify added value and social value benefits and monitor implementation.
- Take responsibility for determining and managing the IT platform and toolset and ensuring compliance and use.
- Establish and lead control processes for variation and document management.
- Report performance variance against the plan and recommend corrective actions. Produce monthly/ adhoc reports and dashboard reports, as and when required.
- Undertake benchmarking and best practice research to inform scope and design development.
- Develop a strategic Procurement Plan, including the management of Framework Contracts.
- Take responsibility for accuracy and control of all data, systems and reporting within Asset Management.
- Assist the Director of Home Maintenance Services with Business Improvement and analysis of operations.
- Develop strategic opportunities and options utilising data analysis to aid objective decision making.
- Overall control of return on asset and NPV calculations together with interpretive reporting.
- Develop BIM processes to capitalise on asset management data and integration of new build developments for future programme management requirements and NPV data systems.
- Responsible for maintaining specification, technical and design information and keeping it up to date and aligned to industry best practice and peer groups.
Experience required:
Membership of a relevant professional body or willing to work towards.
Extensive data analysis experience, with the ability to proactivity recommend a wide range of data analysis methodology to inform a PMO function.
Excellent IT skills, in particular the ability to use Microsoft Excel, programme management systems and databases.
Experience of leading a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels up to and including the Group Executive
The ability to work under pressure and manage a variety of work streams, being able to respond to conflicting demands.
