On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a
Sourcing Manager for an initial 6 month contract with a possibility for extension. As a Sourcing Manager you can be based in either
London, Edinburgh, Bristol or Halifax (1 day per week minimum in office).
Purpose of the Role:
Purpose of the Role:
As a Sourcing Manager you will be responsible for:
- Delivering on initiatives with clients that drive effective spend management through demand management, simplifying specifications and achieving business outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, internal partners and thirdparty suppliers to optimally run all aspects of a project lifecycle ensuring the best value in support of the group's strategy.
- Leading Sourcing activities across a range of categories and create market competition to generate the best possible commercial outcomes as well as bringing innovation to the business.
- Developing strong working relationships across senior stakeholder communities.
- A successful track record as a sourcing manager with strong communication and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness
- An ability to problem solve, be creative, and have a willingness to take initiative when required
- High attention to detail in a constantly evolving environment, ensuring confidence when information is shared
- A drive and enthusiasm that encourages others to collaborate and create an environment of "how can we"
- Experience of Mergers & Acquisition projects (desirable)
- SAP Ariba knowledge
