About the role


The Education Network is looking to work with tutors who will be required to work with young people no longer in mainstream education.

This role requires an experienced tutor to work on a 1-2-1 basis either online or in a residential setting with students with SEN.

As a tutor, you will be teaching Maths, English and Science, as well as focusing on the personal development of students.

Patience and commitment are essential for this role as you will work with students who have become disengaged with education.


A creative approach to education is helpful in this role as you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring students.

Ideally, you will be an experienced tutor or qualified teacher, with a good understanding of the national curriculum.

We are looking for a committed individual invested in making a difference in the lives of the students they support.

Ideally, you will be

  • A qualified teacher or experienced Tutor
  • Used to finding creative solutions
  • Encouraging participation in lessons
  • Happy to work on a 121 basis
  • Have your own transport
  • A friendly, professional and dedicated Teacher or Tutor
  • Able to provide recent, relevant education references
