Reed Finance are supporting a highly successful and fast-growing privately owned business based near Marlow to recruit a Finance Manager to oversee their German subsidiary on a permanent basis.

To be considered for this role you must be fluent in Germanand have experience with Datev.

Reporting to the Group Finance Director and German MD, you will have overall responsibility over all areas of finance for the office in Germany.

This will include occasional trips to the offices in Germany (expensed) and will act as a key bridge betweenthere and the UK.

Key Responsibilities include:

Generating month Management reporting pack to mirror UK equivalent
Producing annual budget and regular periodic forecasts
Monthly bank reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, monitoring intercompany transactions
Reviewing monthly payroll, stock valuation, and credit control
Preparation of monthly accruals, prepayments, and VAT returns
Managing relationships with key stakeholders including banks, credit providers and external auditors/bookkeepers

You will ensure overall improvement of cashflow, streamline processes, and ensure all financial reporting is complete on time and to a high degree of accuracy.

You will be excellent at sticking to deadlines, be friendly and approachable, and take an interestin becoming an integral part of the company's ongoing success story.

You must be qualified, fluent in German and English, with advanced Excel skills and understanding of German accounting with previous experience of using DATEV.
