    At Clifton Park Hospital, our modern purpose-built hospital has been designed and built to offer first-class medical facilities. We need a team to uphold these standards and exceed our patients' expectations.

    Our Housekeeping team is responsible for ensuring consistently high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital, from patient rooms on the ward and operating theatres to x-ray rooms and physiotherapy areas, and public spaces, every day offers something different.

    As the Head of the Housekeeping Department, you will supervise the smooth and efficient running of the cleaning operation for the whole hospital and a team of eight Housekeeping Assistants. You will provide training and development within your team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are achieved every day.

    In this role, you will be responsible for the organisation and allocation of duties, motivating and developing your team, monitoring cleaning standards, working with other Heads of Departments to ensure required standards are met, as well as conducting audits and actioning any findings from the audits. As the Housekeeping Team Leader, there is an expectation that this role will also carry out housekeeping duties throughout the hospital where needed.

    The hospital is open 365 days a year, you may be required to work weekends, public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.

    Cleaning skills and housekeeping experience
    Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene & COSHH regulations
    Ability to coach and encourage individuals to be accountable for their own performance
