About Our Client:
Our client is an extremely reputable Public Sector and Government organisation based in Lincoln looking to add a Accounts Receivable Officer to their team.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the primary responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Officer is to be responsible for the efficient and accurate recording of sales ledger transactions.
More specifically, duties to include:
- Processing and maintaining the Accounts Receivable function
- Keeping the Debtors Ledger up to date and reducing to acceptable levels
- Producing monthly and year end reports
- Assist the Finance Manager with internal and external reports
- Reconciling Aged Debtors Report and chasing overdue debts
- Responsible for customer queries internally and externally
- Above all, playing a vital role in our client's team
The Successful Applicant:
The successful Accounts Receivable Officer:
- Excellent numerical skills
- AAT Qualified (although not essential)
- Previous experience of working within a finance team
- Experience of accurately processing high volumes of financial data
- Experience in a Accounts Receivable / Credit Control position
- Reconciliations experience and month end routines
