Description

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of systems and components
• Measure, cut, and fit pipes using hand tools, power tools, or machines
• Weld, braze, solder, or cement joints to assemble piping systems
• Install and maintain various types of piping systems, including water, gas, steam, and air
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines for leaks or malfunctions
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time and within budget
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to building codes and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and materials
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Salary:
£35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
