This is a unique opportunity to support a gentleman in his own home.

You would be working within a small dedicated team of permanent Support Workers on a 2:1 basis with the aim of supporting my client to achieve optimal independence and access the community.

This is a relaxed, calm environment.

Where care is not required there are other house keeping duties to take care of within the day, including cleaning, meal prep etc.

My client has an incomplete spinal injury and is a powered wheelchair user, he has a keen interest in watching football/sport, and enjoys planning and working on projects to enhance his beautiful home.

Personal care duties are an essential part of this post, all training will be provided. These are 12 hours shifts including days and occasional waking nights on a rota basis.

You will be required to follow a client-specific Support Plan, training and company policies, providing assistance, support, guidance and encouragement, as directed by the Case Manager.

Experience of working within the care industry is essential. A good sense of humour, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are needed.
