WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Provide administrative and organisational support to HR team, championing accuracy and timely undertaking of a wide range of HR activities, including general administrative duties, recruitment and employee development, employee database management, employee liaison and HR policy development.


Policy and Procedure:


  • Be responsible for ISO document control (QMS), upload and communicate new and revised HR Policy and Procedures.
  • Organise HR policy and procedure review cycle.

HR Service Levels:


  • Respond to general HR queries and administration requests, ensuring smooth communication with employees and leadership teams, offering prompt resolution.
  • Monitor HR Team performance against HR Code of Conduct and SLA's.

Recruitment & Selection:


  • Ensure Recruitment Software is maintained in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in the checking of permits to work (eligibility).
  • Coordinate employment start packs and reference requests for new appointments.
  • Actively liaise with new starter "Buddies" to ensure effective onboarding.
  • Actively liaise with recruitment agencies in the provision of F&A and absence data.

Projects:


  • Support HR Team in the delivery of BP and Strategic projects.

Employee Relations, Wellbeing & Reward:


  • Advise and assist employees with understanding human resource policies and procedures.
  • Build and feedback insights and perceptions about employee engagement, company culture through open dialogue.
  • Drive Business Values and behaviours in the workplace.
  • Assist with the provision of employee wellness programs and other HR services.
  • Undertake Salary and Reward benchmarking activities.
  • Promote and distribute support to Employees through provision of professional services.

Learning & Development:


  • Support HR Team in the Delivery of Development Strategies and initiatives.
  • Communication of learning plans and their benefits.
  • Maintain succession plans of PMUK critical roles.

Other:


  • Organising of meetings and events, to include invites, room booking, attendee management, agenda distribution and administration of notes where required.
  • Respond to adhoc requests for data and maintain Departmental Organisation Charts.
  • Select relevant data and compile HR reports including statistical summaries, charts, graphs, surveys (e.g., HR CS Annual Survey and EOS for all Business Units).
  • Support HR Team in the promotion of Compliance and HR mandated processes and systems.
  • Monitor adherence to UK employment Law and regulations.
  • Maintenance of HR Communication Pages, ISO Documentation, KPI & Evolve Dashboards.
  • Collate PMUK Monthly Comms (e.g., Company newsletter) and Management Updates.
  • General HR Administration.
  • Ensure all HR records are accurate, up to date and compliant with GDPR and ISM, conducting annual reviews/audits.
  • CSR activities and implementation.
  • Support in the Organisations of Corporate events e.g., long service awards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


Education/Relevant Experience:


  • Proven academic background and/ or CIPD Qualified (or working towards).

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Experience in within a manufacturing and/or customer service environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong Administrative background with an operational knowledge of HR would be an advantage.
  • Use of Microsoft Office Packages is essential. SharePoint would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision, undertaking the importance of absolute discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle situations with diplomacy and tact.
