Technical Account Manager
The Technical Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Building effective customer relationships though liaison and customer visits.
  • Acting as a customer liaison for sales, estimating and supplying of quotations in toolmaking ensuring a full understanding of the customers' requirements.
  • Ensuring high organization, efficiency, and delivery of sales targets by tracking the effectiveness of and improving on internal processes.
  • Growing new sales managing the order funnel and winning the best mix of work to maximise flow and throughput of sales.
  • Being responsible for retaining current customers as well as developing and attracting new customers.
  • Understanding of cost inflation and currency exchange influences on costs for a ongoing projects.
  • Occasionally visiting customers and potential customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, and provide technical information.
  • Understanding the company's existing capabilities and capacities and becoming familiar with the production routing and manufacturing disciplines.
  • Maintaining a good audit trail of the process that led to an estimate by highlighting the assumptions made and the contingencies provided.

Technical Account Manager
The Technical Account Manager will require the following experience:


Essential skills/experience/qualifications:


  • Substantial account management and sales experience.
  • Experience working with the engineering sector (tooling/automotive/F1 experience is ideal).
  • Willingness to travel as required by the customer
  • Demonstrable proven track record in a similar industry
