GIS Analyst

£30 - 38,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

Remote Working

Key skills & experience:


  • Demonstrable experience performing data analysis on geospatial and nongeospatial data sets using a variety of tools and languages (e.g. ESRI, FME, SQL)
  • Base level experience with Python, ArcPy, ArcGIS Python API, GDAL etc.
  • Experience of working with data systems and data processing pipelines and managing change
  • Experience with data testing highly advantageous

Duties:


  • Support the work programme by performing geospatial and nongeospatial data analysis across the various stages and lifecycle of the programme
  • Experience with FME software
  • Base level technical skills with ETL processes and data management using FME server and FME Desktop.
  • Good handson knowledge with ArcGIS suite of products and concepts of GIS
  • Identification and evaluation of data and quality rules per customer, and supporting the implementation of these with the development team, as well as supporting the quality manager to identify impact on quality and service level agreements
