ABOUT THIS ROLE
We're looking for a People Administrator to join our Group People Team.
You will play a key role in helping to continuously improve and administer efficient and effective HR support throughout the whole employee life cycle.
This role will provide day to day administrative support to our People Partnering Team and you will be responsible for the management of the HR Information system and all of our People Trackers and Data.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the full onboarding process of new starters, starting with sending offers and contracts and including full processing of new hire information in our HRIS and collating/completing right to work checks.
- Support maintenance of our HRIS, ensuring all employee records are accurate; starters, leavers and changes are processed accurately and on time for payroll deadlines,
- Coordinate the daily management of the People Inbox providing responses and resolutions in a timely manner and escalating queries as and to whom is appropriate.
- Assist the People Team and employees with adhoc queries relating to benefits provision, life events, annual leave, policies, systems, employee gifting, event coordination, etc.
- Working with People partners to coordinate any People changes including, but not limited too; production of letters, contracts, communications and system updates.
- Support the People Partnering Team with Employee Relations cases, evidence pack creation, notetaking, reporting, etc.
- Production of People Data Reports for both internal and external purposes e.g absence reporting, organisational structures and charts, annual leave entitlements, etc.
- Perform ongoing audits to ensure the integrity and organization of our People data.
- Support the People Partner Team with adhoc administration tasks such as new vacancy and job offer approvals, drafting business case documents, administration support on strategic People Team projects, research as required etc
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in an administrative role, within an HR function
- Excellent organisational skills to deliver efficient administration to internal and external People Team stakeholders in a timely manner, and a high attention to detail
- An ability to manage all sensitive data with strict confidentiality, discretion and in a compliant manner;
- Adaptable communicator, who can act with professionalism and sensitivity, with an ability to listen and interpret instructions and feedback
- Experience in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential to this role
Desirable:
- CIPD Qualified or a desire to work towards this
- Experience of managing data within a HR Information System (HRIS)
