Are you and experienced Lab Technician? Do you have experience working within a manufacturing business? If so, our client is a leading manufacturing business who specialise in delivering highly technical components for a variety of industries.
I am lookingfor a motivated Lab Technician to join an already successful teamon a permanent contract basis.Lab Technician
Responsibilities:
- Support product assembly and testing under the guidance of electronic production engineers
- Support the continual improvement of production documentation by following documented process and giving feedback
- Ensure the lab regularly reviewed and stocked with consumables
- Ensure the lab and development server room is kept safe and organised
- Support goods receipt process, ensuring stock is booked in correctly and stores as required
Essential Skills/Experience required:
- Use of mechanical hand tools for completion of assemblies and cables
- Use of electronic test kit as part of production test process (e.g. DMM, Oscilloscopes)
- Use of both Linux and Windows Operating Systems to run test scripts
- Ability to solder/rework fine pitched SMD devices
- Knowledge of IPC rework standards
