Are you and experienced Lab Technician? Do you have experience working within a manufacturing business? If so, our client is a leading manufacturing business who specialise in delivering highly technical components for a variety of industries.

I am lookingfor a motivated Lab Technician to join an already successful teamon a permanent contract basis.

Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

Support product assembly and testing under the guidance of electronic production engineers
Support the continual improvement of production documentation by following documented process and giving feedback
Ensure the lab regularly reviewed and stocked with consumables
Ensure the lab and development server room is kept safe and organised
Support goods receipt process, ensuring stock is booked in correctly and stores as required

Essential Skills/Experience required:

Use of mechanical hand tools for completion of assemblies and cables
Use of electronic test kit as part of production test process (e.g. DMM, Oscilloscopes)
Use of both Linux and Windows Operating Systems to run test scripts
Ability to solder/rework fine pitched SMD devices
Knowledge of IPC rework standards
