Machine Operative - ROTATING SHIFTS
Due to continued growth we are looking for a number of experienced Machine Operatives to join a well-known worldwide tool company in the Rotherham area

Key Details:

Overtime rates
Free onsite parking
Onsite fully equipped kitchen with vending machines

Hours:

Monday to Friday
6am2pm, 2pm10pm, 10pm6am / rotating shifts
37 hours per week

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS

Pay Rate:

Between £12.92£15.36 depending on experience
Including shift allowance paid between £8.20 £9.61 depending on rate of pay

Main duties of the job:

Set and operate various machines associated with the manufacturing process
Collection and quality checking of materials to be used in the production process
Routine machine checks and maintenance tasks
Accurately record information relating to scrap, downtime, and machine issues.
Manual production and packing operations including preparing orders for despatch
Quality checking finished products
Various other duties as and when required
Completion of all relevant Safety and Quality Checks on Process and Product in accordance with company standards

Skills Required:

Previous experience of working in a production / fast paced manufacturing environment would be an advantage (grinding, CNC, Press machines)
Machine setting experience
Some level of mechanical engineering apprenticeship preferred but not essential.
Forklift truck licence would be beneficial
Must be numerate and literate
Have a knowledge and understanding of shop orders
Ability to meet targets and work to deadlines
