The Operations Shift Team Leader is an exciting key role in the Operations structure.

You'll have direct responsibility for managing some of our processes, whether that be picking, packing, quality control, goods-in, returns etc.

You will lead a team to deliver excellent service to our customers.

What you'll do

  • Directly responsible for leading and managing a team across any of the operational warehouse/ fulfilment functions.
  • Maintain and promote high standards of Health Safety and Environmental compliance/ controls within your area of responsibility and generally across the site.
  • Manage and monitor the time/ attendance, performance, development and general well being of the team.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
  • Foster an environment of engagement, inclusion and instil a sense of belonging within the team.
  • Provide coaching, support and feedback to the team on an ongoing basis.
  • Formulate operational plans and collaborate across teams to align resources so that the plan is delivered.
  • Contribute and lead continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Identify opportunities for personal development and that of the team ensuring any training needs are addressed.
  • Be a role model for the Monica Vinader Aims and Values.

What you'll bring

  • Energy, ideas and a can do attitude with a desire to learn.
  • Relevant operational leadership experience ideally from either an eCommerce, retail or multichannel environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and all round great communication skills with the ability to confidently present and inspire the team.
  • A proven track record of leading and motivating teams and working effectively with others.
  • An ability to manage the team fairly and provide honest and construct feedback in sometimes challenging situations.
  • An ability to plan and organise and adapt plans quickly in a fastchanging environment.
  • Understand use of metrics to drive performance.
  • Demonstrated Health & Safety/ Environmental experience within a warehouse environment.
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret data and identify appropriate actions.
  • A track record of delivering continuous improvement projects and change in an operational environment (including lean techniques).

Additional Requirements
Ability to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom

Flexible to work either a fixed or 4 on 4 off days only pattern


Travel Requirements:

This is a site based role in Acton close to North Acton Tube station. Initially during training and transition, travel to Norfolk will be required.
