Admissions Assistant - London, United Kingdom - The Mill Hill School Foundation
Description
Reporting to the Assistant Head (Admissions, Co-curricular and Operations), the Admissions Assistant will support with the admissions process for prospective pupils from the UK, entry at 13+, 14+ and 16+ and supporting the School's promotional activities.
Administration
- Assist the Head of Admissions and Registrar in the smooth running of the UK based admissions process for Fourth Form (Year 6 Track/13+), Remove (Chance Vacancies/14+) and Sixth Form (16+) entry
- To assist with parental, prep school and internal Admissions correspondence
- Support with the organisation and management of examination days, including attendance at the two Saturday testing days
- Support with the organisation of interview processes of pupils
- Assistance in completion of all correspondence relating to testing and interviewing
- Support the process of gaining references, predicated grades, Head's Reports etc and lead on the preparation of applicant folders
- Support the Registrar with the preparation of offer letters and information cascade to Housemasters/mistresses and the Senior Leadership Team
- Support the Registrar with the collation and distribution of joiner forms to the parents of new pupils
- Ensure all joining papers are completed ahead of pupils start date
- Work with the Admissions Team to a market leading 'parental transition experience', for parents considering Mill Hill, but who are lower down in the Foundation
- Assist with general School Office duties when required

- Participate in training and development activities and programmes, and attend and participate in meetings as required
- Comply with, and assist with the development of policies and procedures, and report all concerns to an appropriate person, in respect of:
- Safeguarding
- Health, safety and security
- Confidentiality, and
- Data Protection
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Head, Assistant Head (Admissions,
