WA Consultants is currently recruiting for a Procurement Lead for an established client based in South Devon.

You will be responsible for the:

  • Delivery of all strategic and transactional procurement activity within the business area that you are aligned to.
  • To own the delivery of the Category Sourcing Strategy and individual Procurement Strategies within your category area of responsibility with the intention of identifying cost saving opportunities and future commercial opportunities and determining the strategic direction.
  • To engage with key stakeholders and build strong working relationships to identify business needs and influence third party spend.
  • To build a detailed understanding of the supply chains in the business area that you are aligned to so as to identify opportunities that deliver maximum value and ensure that our suppliers are consistent with the highest ethical standards.
  • To deputise for the Head of Procurement from time to time as business needs arise.
  • Full Membership of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent acquired experience.
