At The Wedding Room we're dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day and stand out delivery to our corporate clients.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of event bookings from confirmation to completion.
- Implement and manage décor stock control processes to ensure efficient event preparation.
- Document and implement processes to ensure precise fulfilment of each event.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver, install and collect decor items at venues.
- Manage stock return and replenishment of perishables to maintain inventory levels to high standard.
- Organise and prioritise our range of décor in our warehouse to optimise accessibility and functionality.
- Support our in house florist with handson preparation and maintenance of all decor and stock for each event.
- Coordinate with internal team to deliver events to the highest standards of quality.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong multitasking abilities and adept at prioritising tasks effectively.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing processes to streamline operations.
- Methodical approach and commitment to delivering events with precision.
- Previous experience in event coordination or similar role is preferred however not essential if you have the skills and attributes we need.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a dedicated team, contributing skills, expertise, and efforts toward achieving collective outcomes
- Full and clean driving licence and wiling to drive company van (must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes)
- Have your own car to go between our locations showroom and warehouse
