Science Teacher

Qualiteach is currently working with a SEMH School who is looking for an experienced Science Teacher who can join them immediately on a full-time basis until the end of July, with the potential of going permanent.

You will be responsible for the planning anddelivering of lessons to small groups of 6 students by following the UK National Curriculum.

All of the students you will be teaching will have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, due to their needs you will need to make adjustments to your lessonsto make sure that you are catering for all students and that they are able to get the most out of their education.

During your lessons you will have 2/3 Teaching Assistants who will be their to make sure students are safe during practical lessons, help themwith understanding questions or reading and writing and also manage any behaviour that may occur.

The ideal Science Teacher for this role ideally needs to have worked in a SEMH School previously but isn't essential and have a presence in the class and be ableto manage behaviour.

SEMH School

This SEMH School is located in the London borough of Bromley and caters for girls and boys aged between 5-16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.

They currently have 200 students who attend and in their last Ofsted in 2019, they were awarded'Outstanding' in all areas.

This school does have an onsite car park and in a short walk from public transport links making it very commutable from London and Kent.
