Protocol is working closely with an FE college based in Lancashire to help recruit for a seasoned Early Childhood Studies Lecturer.

We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who will be responsible for delivering at L1-3 in Early Years related modules and ensuring an outstanding level of education is delivered.

The institution is committed to providing a broad range of academic courses and the department is looking for passionate and motivated people to join the team.

The role:

Parttime/sessional, 17hrs per week, £1822 per hour plus statutory holiday pay.
Support Learning, Teaching and Assessment to ensure student success; attendance as required by contract.
Demonstrate appropriate pedagogic practice in teaching, learning and assessment and support for students through the use of a wide range of learning resources and innovative practice.
Ensure that teaching is informed by contemporary research, scholarship, knowledge and professional practice and develop the abilities of students to engage in debate, critical discourse and thinking.
Setting, assessing and recording of students work according to the procedures outlined by the appropriate awarding body.
To work proactively to forward the success and vision of the department.
Ensuring a high standard of achievement through engaging and interactive sessions.
Identifying and analysing student needs.
