Description

This post is primarily based in our medium secure mental health in-patient and community service pathways.

A B7 post-holder will assume the role of team psychologist for the rehabilitation/ recovery ward and offer supervision to unregistered staff psychology staff in this environment.

They will have a role across secure care services in the new Sycamore Unit which will open in Spring 2023.

The post-holder will provide assessment, formulation and individual interventions and contribute to the delivery, development and evaluation of the group-work programmes that operate across the Secure Care services.

They will contribute to and participate in the secure care CPD programme including supervision of other MDT colleagues in psychologically informed practice.

This post would ideally suit an individual committed to embedding the delivery of trauma and recovery-informed care in promoting psychological well-being and reducing risks.
