Your role

  • Driving / operating reachstackers, tugmasters, translifters and forklifts
  • Loading and unloading third
- party transport

  • Additional duties, including pinning and shunting

Your profile

  • You will have experience in a similar role
  • It is important that you have knowledge of Port Operations
  • Experience of driving large vehicles and operating heavy plant and machinery
  • It is essential you have a proactive approach and knowledge of Health and Safety
  • Reachstacker experience would be advantageous as well as experience in operating Tugmasters, Translifters, forklifts, and shovels
  • You will have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good IT skills are desirable for use of inhouse/ onboard Freight Management Systems
  • You must be a selfmotivated individual
  • Ability to prioritise workload whilst working to tight timescales in accordance with company policies
  • You must be able to work within a team.
  • A flexible approach to work is necessary as you will be expected to cover when required
  • You must be willing to undertake any duties that may arise to contribute to the daytoday running of the terminal
  • You must also be willing to work to a flexible timetable to meet the changing patterns of work, which could include working at other CLdN Ports within the UK and Europe
