The Maintenance Engineer Role:

As a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer you perform malfunction analysis, resolve malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance on our machinery. In this position you will report to the Maintenance Manager


As our Maintenance Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out (preventive) maintenance work.
  • Participate in technical projects.
  • Resolving electrical and mechanical faults within a wide range of machinery and various aids to obtain an optimal production progress.
  • Giving advice/work instructions to operators to prevent certain malfunctions in the future where possible.
  • Maintenance and repair of utilities and buildingrelated systems

Experience & Education:


  • A completed MTS Electrical/control technology or other mechanical engineering course and you have 25 years of experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of PLC / HMI (especially Siemens PLC's S7, 200, 300, 1200, 1500) Software; Step 7, TIA portal, WinCC (HMI) and possibly knowledge of Mitsubishi and Citect scada)
  • Mechanical/electrical knowledge and skills, but above all a feeling for technology in the broadest sense.

  • Dutch speaking would be an advantage
  • You work in 2 shifts and a few weekends a year

  • You are proactive
But above all, we are not most impressed with the person who quickly solves the malfunctions, but with the person who can prevent the most malfunctions
