Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a CDM Compliance Manager to join our project in the Southwest where we are a delivery partner on a key infrastructure project.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in one of the most complex and challenging projects in the UK today where you will be responsible for verifying that construction is being delivery in line with the CDM regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor Adherence to the Construction operating procedure
- Lead, advise and organise the team to ensure compliance with the Work Instruction
- Own the administration of CDM Arrangements Management Plan for the programmes of work to ensure stakeholders are aware of duties that need to be discharged
- Review safety documents and provide comment to meet the project goals
- Advise to the Client and Duty holders if CDM responsibilities are not being carried out
- Champion safety culture, construction procedures and best practice
- Audit the team and provide positive contributions to ensure compliance
- Undertake site inspections to identify problems on site and coordinate with the construction team to resolve
- Management of project interfaces with parties identified in the CDM regulations
- Interfacing and cooperation with the safety, health and environment team and other teams across the programme or external organisations
About you: - Has experience advising on safety matters on large scale construction Projects
- Has significant experience and understanding of the CDM regulations and Health and Safety at Work Act
- Has extensive awareness and experience of discharging duties identified in CDM, construction practices and health and safety legislation
- Can demonstrate effective stakeholder management and understands the importance of integrated team delivery in large organisations with MATRIX management structures
- Significant experience of delivering safety in a nuclear environment

- Safety related qualification
Security:
- Current holder of Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance, or willing to obtain security clearance required for role
