About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs? Do you have experience working with diverse learning abilities? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide onetoone support to students with additional needs, both in the classroom and during specialist sessions.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural support strategies.
  • Support students in accessing the curriculum and engaging with learning activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff and contributing to review meetings as required.
  • Promote independence and social skills development through structured activities and positive reinforcement.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children or young people with additional needs is highly desirable.
  • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special educational needs is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative learning environment.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

£80.00-£95.00 per day
