Classroom support are excited to be working with a Primary school in Enfield who are looking to recruit several specialists 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to start in March 2024 and work there long term into next academic year on a long-term supply basis.


The SEN provision environment can at times be a little challenging in terms of managing children with challenging behaviours, however it is also highly rewarding and met with a fantastic and supportive team.


The position as an SEN Teaching Assistant will start on a long-term temporary basis with the option of going permanent after a set number of weeks working with the school through Classroom Support.

It is essential that you have some of the the below experience:

  • Experience of supporting children that at times exhibit challenging behaviour
  • A keen understanding of being able to create bonds with pupils that struggle to engage
  • Worked within a Mainstream or SEN school setting previously is advantageous
  • Being of a firm nature when necessary but kind and caring as a person
  • Experience supporting children with ASD or ADHD.
You must be able to commit to the working hours of 8.30am - 3.30pm. Monday to Friday.


You must have already, or be willing to pay for a DBS with a children's barred check, that is on the update service.
