Are you a passionate, confident, and personable Pastoral Support Officer seeking your next position in an OFSTED rate good Secondary School? Or are you an experience Teaching Assistant looking to move into a Pastoral Support position? If you answered yes, then we really want to hear from you


As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will be working amongst a team and with the Heads of Year to provide an encouraging and supportive environment for students to achieve their best.


Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Attendance support for assigned year group
  • Behaviour support for assigned year group
  • Academic support for assigned year group
  • Supporting the Pastoral Head of Year in their role
  • Supervision of student transport to and from school
  • Admission support for assigned year group during the year
  • Be an approachable, confident and organised individual
  • Have experience of working with youths in any setting
  • Be a proactive individual able to work well in a team and independently
  • Have exceptional communication, literacy and numeracy skills
