Communications Support Officer - Maternity Cover

The Virtual School Kent Participation Team has a vacancy for Maternity Cover for a full time Communications Support Officer within Integrated Children's Services.

This post could be offered as a secondment opportunity for current KCC Staff.

The Participation Team has responsibilities to support and encourage meaningful participation and engagement of children and young people who are in care, young care leavers, and others who come under other specified cohorts across Integrated Children's Services in CYPE.

This is an exciting new role that will support the work of the Participation Team to ensure that young people's views and feedback are front and centre in everything we do through a variety of media platforms.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.

The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.

The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
