Westfield Medical is a leading UK manufacturer of sterilisation barrier systems and we are currently looking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator.


The role of the Customer Service Administrator within the Customer Service Team is key to our Customer journey by creating a strong link between the Customer and the Sales Team ensuring both product and pricing data is accurate and meets both the business and the Customer's requirements.


The role reports to the Customer Service Manager, is supported by and gives support to, the wider Customer Service and Sales Teams.


Role and Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Communicating and liaising with customers politely and efficiently.
  • Processing and progressing orders, to give the customer exact details of his/her order, status, progress, latest delivery details, problems, alternatives, etc. in line with Company KPI's.
  • Processing orders and information using customer portals where required
  • Managing and expediting customer orders.
  • Processing customer complaints in line with Company KPI's, thus pinpointing any problems
  • Being proactive when dealing with internal customers. Building respect and rapport, to benefit both internal and external customers.
  • To assist with the prompt processing of sample requests.
  • To ensure Customer Data is up to date and relevant.
  • Continuously work towards both the individual and team performances.
  • Liaise directly with the Sales Managers, having a positive attitude, being proactive, helpful, and listening & making suggestions.
  • Providing excellent customer service to meet the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.

Desirable qualities of the Customer Service Administrator

  • Strong IT literacy is needed, and ERP/ MRP/ SAP/ multiple system knowledge as well as CRM systems would be highly beneficial
  • Experience of work within a customer facing role is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and telephone skills are essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills, accuracy & attention to detail
  • Polite, tactful and friendly attitude
  • Customer service focus
  • Understanding numeric data
  • Team player, also able to work using own initiative
  • Able to work to deadlines

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
